Lisle Combe is no longer licensed for wedding ceremonies.
We can still welcome wedding receptions and celebrations of your special day. Lisle Combe is an ideal small wedding venue, we can cater for up to 30 guests, seated in our elegant dining room, or 50 in a more informal setting.
Lisle Combe is a haven for those who come with their own vision and ideas of how they wish their wedding reception to be, creating their own personal magic in the existing spaces. We also love to share our experience and knowledge, advising couples and families on what works best. We’re here to help make your wedding day the most memorable day of your life.

Lisle Combe is a private house and is not staffed. This means that we really do plan your wedding reception with you from the start, there is no set package, we are flexible and accommodating (within reason), so please ask!
We have a suggested suppliers list of caterers, photographers, florists and all the essentials you need to create an exquisite celebration and we can provide you with advice and ideas on the planning of your day. We hold a drinks license and can provide catering for afternoon teas, all served on vintage crockery.
There are endless magical photographic opportunities at Lisle Combe. From using the house as a magnificent backdrop, to the beach, stone benches in the garden, or in the hallway, on the magnificent dark wooden staircase. There is always wildlife teeming in the garden, from red squirrels to herons to bees and butterflies, plus numerous secret areas for you and your guests to explore.
History abounds at Lisle Combe, with connections to poetry, Royalty, sailing, New Zealand, antiques and more!
